Is the above picture a representation of you? Is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 causing you to become frustrated, angry and possibly Mapathetic? Here is a full description of what you may be experiencing, courtesy of Infinity Ward:
“Mapathy (n.) [map-uh-thee] (often expressed as, “How the hell did you know I was there?!”) is a state of indifference to the same old maps one has been playing for the last several months. The Mapathetic individual no longer derives pleasure from blowing up people hiding in the cockpit or on top of the crane. More than 20 million people may be at risk for Mapathy.”
Well fear not my fellow FPS addicts and fellow Mapathy sufferers, a cure is at hand. On March 30th 2010 a map pack is coming for COD Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox 360 shortly afterwards for PS3 and PC.
Details are sketchy at the moment but check back soon for more info as it arrives. More people around the globe are currently suffering from Mapathy than swine flu, and tamiflu can’t help you… only more maps can.

Alan Wake is definitely one of the biggest titles of 2010, as well as this new decade in video game history. Remedy have been developing this ‘Psychological Action Thriller’ for over 5 years now, during that time we’ve got a new Prime Minister, and the US got a new President…ok slightly off topic, I know, but 5 years is still a long wait. We can happily say it’s been a wait worth waiting… and it’s now time to Wake up!

First things first, catchy title…
It’s definitely been a while since we’ve seen a Tom Clancy shooter title, the last Tom Clancy game was EndWar (the ‘War’ to ‘End’ all wars). Advanced Warfighter came out in 2006! OMG indeed, with the sequel hitting the shelves in 2007.

The Japanese Xbox.com is currently teasing a Capcom and Microsoft title which will be premiered on the 26th, what could it be? We have our own ideas.
We know it can’t be: Dead Rising 2, Super Street Fighter IV or Lost Planet 2.
It’s probably most likely to be an XBLA title we think, with all the budget issues as of late. How about a re-make of some classic Resident Evils? Coming to XBLA? How about that…
Those ruffian’s over at …Ruffian Games have just announced that Crackdown 2 will be getting a Demo at some point before it’s release – woohoo!
James Cope, a producer on the game, had an interview with the guys over at IGN and he was asked if we were to expect a demo sometime before the game’s release.
“You can definitely expect a demo to hit Live before the game is out but I can’t say when that will be… yet,” said Cope
“The Crackdown demo was fantastic and we want to carry on in that form.”
