Bohemia Interactive’s Arma 2 had received the patch treatment and now includes the following fix’s

  • Lowered enemy AI skills for regular and recruit difficulty levels
  • Improved Micro AI tactics, attack in pairs, path limiting to avoid passing through walls
  • Fixed multiplayer session NAT negotiation
  • Improved game stability (various crash opportunities fixed)
  • Multiple save slots supported
  • Improved terrain shape beyond map borders
  • Various campaign and localization fixes and improvements
  • Modules (F7) support added in the Mission Editor
  • Added option to disable various post-process effects (bloom, blur etc.)

The guys over at Bohemia interactive have kind of leaked the system specs for the open world military shooter Arma 2 and so what kind of hardware will you need to run this Crysis destroyer.

Minimal Specs:

CPU: Pentium 4 3.0GHz (Don’t bother if you still have one of those)/ Intel core 2.0 GHz/ AMD Athlon 3200+ or faster

Ram: 1GB

Video card: Nivdia 7800/ ATI Radeon 1800 with shader model 3 with 256MB VRAM

OP: XP SP3

Optimal  Specs:

CPU: Intel Core 2.8GHz/ AMD Athlon 64×2 4400+ or faster

RAM: 2GB

Video card Nivdia 8800GT/ ATI Radeon 4850 with shader model 3 with 512MB VRAM

Somehow I think the whole 8800GT thing might be of a goof.

All: Engage ARMA 2 at 1 O’clock 

Something that really never ever happens in the gaming world is any game being pushed forward from there original release date well that scenario has just happened. Arma 2 was originally penned for June 26 and will now be on sale on the 19 June a full week earlier. There is still no word about the 360 version of the title.

Bohemia Interactive’s long awaited sequel to 2007 Arma has been given a release date by publisher 505 games.

The game is due for release on the 26th June 2009 so far for the PC only as there has been no word on the 360 version of the title. Full press release below.
