Banjo-Kazooie

Developer: Rare
Publisher: Microsoft Game Studios
Genre: Xbox LIVE Arcade
Release Date: 12/3/2008
Console: Xbox 360 1200

Back in 1998, Banjo-Kazooie was the duo’s first romp in adventure land. Carrying on the age-old tradition of bear and bird, the team must rescue the soon-to-be monster-ized sister from the ever so ugly but sometimes poetic witch Gruntilda. It’s a classic combination for your enjoyment. Now it’s brought to you one hundred percent intact in lovingly upgraded gaming form. And because we’re really nice, if you have the Banjo-Kazooie® Nuts and Bolts game, the legendary Stop N Swop feature is at last activated. Look out for the hungry clams and dangerous ice cubes.

The big M are reconsidering delisting those pesky, useless non-selling XBLA games. If you remember,  Microsoft were going to delist games that have a MetaCritic score of less than 65 and a trial conversion rate below 6 percent.

Microsoft Corporate Vice President John Schappert said “We have no immediate plans to act on de-listing”. Looks like the new dash will save the Rocky and Bullwinkle game - YAY!!!

Press Release from the guys over at Castle Crashers!

Now we don’t have official numbers from Microsoft yet but according to our friends over at vgchartz,

The Behemoth’s anticipated beat ‘em up smashes every record with 78,545 units”. Apparently our 3 day sales are one of the highest recorded in Xbox LIVE Arcade history, sweet! Once we get some official numbers we’ll post them heres but as of right now the leaderboards show 170,000 users listed!

Our thoughts on this matter are definitely best coming from the man with the studio speakers, ResidentSD.

ResidentSD | “Can we get a clown over here please?” says:
In a way, this isn’t great news.
We look at that and see “great game sells well”
Microsoft look at that and see “1200MSP games are viable!”
