Halo: Reach still continues to hold quite a lot of mystery regarding how it will be different in comparison to other Halo titles, is this not quite Halo?
Some footage has been dropped onto the internet showing off Halo: Reach’s 2010 BETA bootup sequence. The ‘player’ goes about loading up the BETA and specifically shows off the ‘TIPS: Use the Murder Mode…’ he then goes about dropping the camera to black as soon as the game itself starts. It’s truely a conspiracy!
Check the video itself out at Kotaku, shout out to them as a source as well.
According to a report in Game Informer’s February 2010 issue, Gordon Freeman and his Half-Life franchise will not be making an appearance in 2010.

Game Informer’s report goes onto say how there may not even be a Half-Life 2: Episode 3, leading to speculation that the next chapter in Gordon Freeman’s story will in fact be a full Half-Life 3. No doubt if this is the case then we may have to wait another couple of years for our next dose of “the Freeman”. Only time will tell…

One of the most best selling games for the SEGA Dreamcast will be making it’s way to the Xbox Live Marketplace. Information of the game coming to the XBLA was leaked earlier this month by german blog site SEGAOnline but now the site has released another story about the game with screenshots from the XBLA version.

Infinity Ward Community Manager Robert Bowling says DLC for Modern Warfare 2 is “planned for spring”.
Robert Bowling has had quite a bit of activity on his Twitter account over recent weeks/months, what with being a big part of the release of the obviously MASSIVE Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 earlier this month and today he was responding to questions about the Hardcore additions to the multiplayer going live today.
Through the course of my general rummaging, I noticed that one user had today asked him when DLC would be arriving, to which he responded…
“DLC is planned for the wonderfully vague timeframe of Spring. I’ll let you know when we know when it’ll be done.”
Although he doesn’t mention maps specifically, we already know that IW have two map packs planned and Spring would be a great time to release it; just as sales are slowing and the online community are used to the existing maps.
Obviously we will keep our ears to the ground and keep you updated with anything we find out over the coming months…

On November 12th, MTV had an Interview with Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling . The developers have stated their next step for MW2 is by releasing some extra content.
“We don’t know what our next game is,” he said, talking in the video interview after the break.
“Once we’ve finished [Modern Warfare 2], we’re going to do a lot of DLC support for it, and then we’re going to sit down and talk about what our next project’s going to be. It doesn’t mean this is the end, but right now, you know, we’re continuing the story and we’re concluding some storylines, but anything’s possible.”
MW3?
“We always like to leave some opening, some air to breathe,” Bowling added. “So, you’re going to have to play it and see.”
I will definitely be looking forward to some Modern Warfare 2 TLC with some DLC, but at the moment I’m still currently working out who to shoot…

Their is a big rumour going around for you lovers of the “hot girls” from Dead of live 4, apparently it’s getting a sequel. The rumours are that Itagaki from Team Ninja has opened up the doors for the Dead or Alive series to make Dead or Alive 5 a multiplatform game.
Retailers are already on the distribution channels in the EU regarding DOA5 being an exclusive for the Xbox. Seeing as Tekkan 6 has already made it’s debut onto the Microsoft platform we wouldn’t be to shocked if the 5th went multi-platform.
Obviously due to the details being a bit hazy right now we can neither confirm or deny the idea of DOA5 becoming a multi-platform game.
We’ll keep you posted if any more information comes out about DOA5.

Dude have you heard about this new Halo game? It’s called Halo Reach and you shoot stuff! Awesome.
Yep, that’s right, a screenshot from Halo Reach is right here, leaked from Bungie HQl! Have a look at a few others over at Neogaf. So what have we learned about Reach? Well its an FPS, (shock) looks like Halo and has a few new weapons like that needler shown above! Also, it’s got drop in drop out CO-OP! What more could you ask for? (other than official announcement, we sadly can only ’speculate’…)
Don’t forget, if you still own a copy of Halo 3: ODST you’ll be in the Halo Reach Beta when it launches sometime early next year.
Not much else to enjoy but the rest of those screenshots are over at Neogaf so take a look!

Today the guys over at Valve have decided to let loose about some free stuff for our lovely unclothed, some naked, Xbox 360 Avatars. It is rumored so don’t get your hopes up on the below items, but they will be very similar to what information we have extracted from the Steam forums.
- Med Kit – “earned by beating all five campaigns”
- Bull Shifters Shirt – “earned by winning 10 games of Versus”
- Left 4 Dead 2 Shirt – “earned by winning 10 games of Scavenge”
- Zombie Hand shirt – “earned by killing 10,000 Infected”
- Depeche Mode Shirt – “earned by rescuing Gnome Chompski from the Dark Carnival”
Sounds nice of a developer/publisher to give us some free stuff! especially when the Avatar clothes are way over priced. I’m liking the sound of having a Med Kit, never know when I will need to heal my other friends Avatars from some horrible infected wound delivered by a member of the undead.
- P.S. EURO GAMER TOMMORROW WOOOO!

Recently their has been some new very bad quality videos of MW2 leaked on the internet. The footage shows a new camera angel of being able to play COD:MW2 in 3rd person. I agree with the posters of the videos on their website how they feel sorry for Infinity Ward since the players who have the game now are “testers” and “press” and shouldn’t be recording the footage. But Here’s is the footage for you’re enjoyment and you can now stop peeing yourself.

As some of you may know (Warric, Thrungus & Jpwb of course will know this with a PS3) you have to install some blu-ray games to the PS3’s hard drive for the game to work properly or something along them lines. Alot of hardcore Final Fantasy fans and casual Ps3 fans have been asking the question will it need to be installed to the PS3 hardrive…
