
A prominent star in the adult film star has claimed that violent videogames are “a much bigger negative influence on kids” than the films of his profession.
The “actor” in question is Mr Ron Jeremy and for those who don’t know, he has been a big name in the porn industry for over 30 years. Mr Jeremy was speaking at CES, taking a quick break from the Adult Entertainment Expo which has been happening in Las Vegas at the same time.
Now while this is obviously an ignorant and my opinion CRAZY thing to say; the thing I find most surprising about the whole thing is that Ron Jeremy even appeared as a playable character in the Celebrity Deathmatch Videogame back in 2003!

Well today’s episode of Late night government news is all regarding the release of this new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 game, you may of heard of it, you may of just queued for 1 hour just to go home and play it.

Two Labour MPs have posed questions in the House of Commons ahead of the high-profile launch of videogame Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Labour MP Keith Vaz, who has strongly criticised the new game, questioned Minister for Creative Industries Siôn Simon on protecting children from its "violent" content.
Another Labour MP, Tom Watson, has defended the game and spearheaded a Facebook group to help defend games from critics.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2 got the rating of the good old fashioned blood thirsty 18 rating, by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).
It was originally ‘To Be Confirmed’ but now it’s a full blown 18 and we it’s the first on of the series to get that, nicely done.
The Game is out Worldwide November 10th!
Not that charts mean anything to us, at any point have we relied on charts at all, but FIFA 10 has supposedly outsold Uncharted 2 and taken the number 1 spot.
It wasn’t looking good for Brutal Legend this week either, coming in at number 7.

Recently BusinessWeek has compiled its list of ‘World’s Best Companies’ for 2009, and at the top of the list is Nintendo.
Nintendo have managed to reach this spot with help from the past 5 years of game sales and has put them a place in the top spot. neither Sony or Microsoft are included in the 40 strong list.

FIFA 10 has managed to score a few coals on the UK Game charts, hitting in at number 1, beating Halo 3: ODST and My Little Pony 3: Revenge of the Stable.
It has become the 2nd biggest launch in the UK, underneath the world wide acclaimed GTA IV, which was released in April 08. It’s the biggest launch for a FIFA ever!
Now here are my comments, I couldn’t give a rats-ass. To our American readers, this is basically like saying I’d happily kick my Granddad in the nads.
Yes it’s correct, Sega have decided to rip the proverbial heart out of Chromehounds online multiplayer capabilities. Some chap over at Kotaku quizzed the Sega admins to find out what going on, Sega commented that all online components for Chromehounds will no longer be accessible from January 6th 2010, or words to that effect.
Hmm was a while ago that EA pulled the plug on many of their outdated sports games. Could we start seeing more older titles get their online gonads removed?
Alright so we all know that this piracy stuff goes on, half the time its your local china-man popping around the pub asking if you want to buy some ‘Decent DVD’s’, so when it comes to games the ELSPA have been cracking down on the matter with their little Counter Terrorist/Anti-Knockoff/RainbowSix Piracy Unit.
Some bloke in Bristol has been sentenced to 15 months in prison after pleading guilty to a total of 23 offences relating to the possessing for sale of illegally copied games, films, music and pornography on recordable discs. He also requested that a further 144 offences be taken into consideration and was ordered to pay £12,000 towards prosecution costs.
The goods seized mounted up to a whooping £50,000. Thats alot of porn…
Just goes to show that copying your mates games or anyones games for that matter gets noticed. Oooo Scary.
