This week’s Friday Funnies clip is truly one of the best yet, especially if you’re a fan of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. It speaks for itself so sit back and enjoy one of the BEST examples of stop-motion you will ever see!

Today, our thoughts are in regards to 3D gaming. It’s not as much a debate in my eyes as it is an acceptance of the in-evitable. Its critics quickly coined on to the fact that, wearing 3D glasses whilst gaming is going to make us look un-cool. This makes me laugh, no really, if someone thinks that they are going to look worse than you already do, you need to record yourself and watch it! We already make daft facial expressions, lean with our driving, speak into headsets ripped of universal soldier and much more that frankly doesn’t exactly gamers “cool”. That’s when we’re playing on a none-motion controlled game too. Looking like an idiot is part of everybody else’s “fun” when you play games. Learn to love it.
As a method of entertainment as well, Gaming is going to have to follow the trends in order to keep up.
Films are going 3D and having seen Avatar in 3D, which was made to take full advantage of 3D technologies, 3D really does help the immersion you feel when experiencing entertainment. Sure after a while the novelty might wear off but then we’re just left with the after effect of a better gaming experience overall.
As with most things though, initially it’s going to be expensive and the results are probably going to be sub-par with downsides. Alas this is the period of time we have to put up with to get the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Endure now and we will get the benefits at the end of the day. Once it’s integrated, that’s when the “next big thing” will start being worked on even more. Progress works better if we accept the smaller changes to get us to the momentous ones!
It’s time to accept what moaning isn’t going to stop. 3D is coming, time to get used to the idea. Click on the break to hear other editor thoughts and videos.

This week’s Friday Funnies is one that I’m sure a lot of people have seen but it still manages to make me laugh so I hope you all enjoy it!
It comes from edited footage of the film Downfall and is a video of Hitler being told that he (along with a lot of others last year) has had his Xbox Live account banned, enjoy!
*Please be aware that (unsurprisingly) there is a lot of swearing in this clip!

2010 has already seen a string of great game releases and following in the footsteps of Bioshock 2, Heavy Rain, Mass Effect 2 and Bayonetta comes this batch of potential hits. March will see the release of many titles, with new IPs and sequels aplenty. I pick 5 of the most promising.
Battlefield Bad Company 2 – March 5th (PS3/Xbox 360/PC)
The sequel to EA’s popular first-person shooter Battlefield Bad Company, BBC2 looks to improve on the foundations set by EA DICE in 2008 with improved multiplayer, new vehicles and an updated system providing entirely destructible environments. Argued by EA to be a strong competitor to Infinity Ward’s Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise, Bad Company 2 will see a 13-level single player campaign span numerous continents, featuring environments ranging from mountainous terrain along the Russian border to dense jungles in South America and even a desert.

Well we’ve had two freakout videos in a row, two Remi Gaillard prank videos in a row and so this week, (you guessed it!) we are going to make it two Modern Warfare 2 clips in a row!
This comes from the wonderful world of Machinima and is a celebration of all those times when players have gotten kills in the luckiest ways ever! FYI anyone who might end up against me online in the coming days, I will definitely be trying out number 2 on the list! Enjoy!
News just in; AvP is the fastest selling game this year and also no.1 in the all-formats chart here in the UK.
SEGA just announced that AvP has become the fasting selling game of the year so far, which does come as a shock to us Xtreme Gamers. The title has sold faster than: Bayonetta, Darksiders, Bioshock 2 and Mass Effect 2, however that’s not to say that it will have bigger sales that those listed.
Thanks to the game being multi-platform everyone has been able to pick up a copy and really cheap if your looking in the right places…the PC version is only £16.95 at Zavvi!
FAIL!!!
So after two weeks of clips from the hilarious Remi Gaillard, I thought it might be good to return to gameplay videos and it turns out that the best ones out there are all from one game at the moment…that’s right, it’s incredible popularity and huge online community has means that this week comes from Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
This clip is what Americans and the world wide web call an epic fail! I’ve never been a big fan of the Tactical Nuke in multiplayer, I’m more of a Chopper Gunner man myself, therefore I take a certain pleasure in seeing this…
If your a fan of Aliens and a fan of their predators then your probably in luck, there is a game for you that is coming out this Friday.
Now we’ve got to go about searching the public loo’s of most marine barracks to go about finding the cheapest way of getting hold of this such game. Took as a while and there was a lot of literal dirty work to find out.
