That’s right folks, everyone’s favourite freedom fighter will be hijacking a helicopter, jumping out of it, flying through the air and then smashing his way into your living rooms on March 4th to show off his new freeroaming title.
Also of note, publisher Square Enix have said that this will be “one of the biggest freeroaming demos of all time” with a huge 35 square miles of landscape to explore at your will plus some light aircraft are included, along with other vehicles, so that you can do all the hijacking and flying through the air you like! (Well, if you have an Xbox 360, PS3 or PC, please don’t go out stealing aircraft!)

Marketplace just pinged us, you can grab yourself a demo of the longest naming title of 2010!
The guys over at Rare headed up the Xbox Live Marketplace lettings us know that you’ll be able to take to the wheel with Banjo in the demo.
Yes, not only are Banjo and Kazooie set to appear in the final Xbox 360 version of the game, as of today you’ll be able to get an early feel for the spin of their wheels by downloading the free demo. It’s the first incidence of playable Banjo and Kazooie since Nuts & Bolts (or Banjo-Tooie on XBLA if you want to be picky) so it’s definitely worth franchise fans seizing this opportunity with both hairy paws.
We got our mucky pours on a preview build of the game a couple of months ago and I must say it is rather enjoyable! It’s a free demo of course, so what are you waiting for?

GAME today announced that Bad Company 2 will be getting an exclusive pre-order bonus with a multiplayer demo for the Xbox360, Playstation 3 and PC.
Obviously the Playstation 3 has already had it’s BETA so now it’s Microsoft’s turn to at least get a chance at the game? Although we believe it will be exactly the same demo which we played at Eurogamer last year.
Pre-order Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 and don’t forget there will be 3 week Demo access starting on the 4th February 2010!
The limited edition will set you back £39.99 and is available…now!g(80187)a(1469341))
Those ruffian’s over at …Ruffian Games have just announced that Crackdown 2 will be getting a Demo at some point before it’s release – woohoo!
James Cope, a producer on the game, had an interview with the guys over at IGN and he was asked if we were to expect a demo sometime before the game’s release.
“You can definitely expect a demo to hit Live before the game is out but I can’t say when that will be… yet,” said Cope
“The Crackdown demo was fantastic and we want to carry on in that form.”
More info, yes please.
[EDIT] Just turned out that the PSN date is only for the US, expect it on the same day as the Xbox360 release in the UK.
Obviously not the holiday program your after here, it’s actually a romantic night out with a demon slayer or would you just prefer a demo for Dante’s Inferno?
Well then, December is about to get hot with the release of a demo for Dante’s Inferno. You’ll be fighting through hell by at least the 10th December as the demo will be hitting the Playstation Network and later on Christmas Eve for you X-boxers!
In the demo of Dante’s Inferno, players are introduced to Dante Alighieri’s re-imagined past as a crusader who returns home to Florence to discover his true love, Beatrice, murdered. As her soul escapes her body, she is kidnapped by the dark shadow form of Lucifer. Sworn to her rescue, Dante must journey to the Gates of Hell and beyond to battle undead monstrosities, unholy boss demons, and Death himself. Offering a glimpse into the vast world of Dante’s Inferno, the demo serves as a prelude to the player’s perilous journey to the inner bowels of hell.
Key Dates then:
PSN: 10th December
Xbox Marketplace: 24th December
Release: 5th February
You will be happy to know that you will be able to shoot more people in the face while looking remotely attractive on December 3rd, with the Bayonetta Demo.
SEGA of America Inc. and SEGA Europe Ltd. can today announce that a demo for the much anticipated third person action title BAYONETTA will be released on Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network in the US and across Europe on December 3rd.
I’ve heard good things about this Bayonetta game, so it’s a wealthy date to put in my heavily masculine man diary.

Quantic Dream boss David Cage has announced that Heavy Rain will have a playable demo! Sounds lovely to me except there’s not much detail about when the demo will actually be released. However, we do know that the full game will be releasing at some point in 2010.
David spoke to the guys over at G4 and said
“We are currently working on a demo, which is a real challenge,” he said. “Finding one scene that can convey what we are trying to achieve with Heavy Rain is something really difficult.
“If we show an action scene, some players will think that this is what Heavy Rain is all about, and it is the same thing if we show an exploration scene. The problem is that each scene of the game offers contextual game play, which is something very difficult to explain and convey in a single demo. Demos are often a double-edge thing: if you don’t release one, players may think that you have something to hide.”
(I want to see all the stuff your hiding David – I will offer you a hug?)

PS3 owners need to be awoken for yet another big release, you know that console that may be covered in dust? Well clean it off and if you haven’t already you need to check out the currently available Uncharted 2 Multiplayer ‘Beta’ (To be fair, It’s just a multiplayer demo)
Uncharted 2 will feature multiplayer that obviously wasn’t in the 1st game, for many people originally this idea was quite a penny dropper. The fact that an action adventure game could be given a multiplayer, hmm interesting!
This Multiplayer is without a doubt, Among nothing else. The working game environment is an amazing playground in which some of the most entertaining gameplay will be created.
