This week’s Friday Funnies is one that I’m sure a lot of people have seen but it still manages to make me laugh so I hope you all enjoy it!
It comes from edited footage of the film Downfall and is a video of Hitler being told that he (along with a lot of others last year) has had his Xbox Live account banned, enjoy!
*Please be aware that (unsurprisingly) there is a lot of swearing in this clip!

Crytek unveil 2 VERY pretty pictures of their highly anticipated shooter
Personally I think these two screenshots speak for themselves so I will let them do just that!
Crysis 2 is currently slated for a 2010 release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and all I can hope is that all of the final game looks like this!
That’s right, the world famous snowboarder is set to enter the territory of the Skate series and a certain Mr Hawk!
Having just won his second Olympic Gold Medal for half-pipe snowboarding, you could be forgiven for being more than a little surprised that “The Red Tomato” Shaun White is set to be the star of a new skateboarding game.
However, it turns out that Mr White is also an accomplished skateboarder and Ubisoft are currently developing the title for PC, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 which is set for a Q4 release in 2010.
There are no screens or videos as of yet but we will get them to you as soon as they come in.

This story gets more detailed as ousted Infinity Ward employees take legal action against Activision
As Fishwick reported, Infinity Ward employees Jason West and Vince Zampella were rather unceremoniously removed from their posts earlier this week and now the pair have decided to file a lawsuit against their former bosses.
In a press release earlier today, their lawyers had this to say…
“The suit was filed to vindicate the rights of West and Zampella to be paid the compensation they have earned, as well as the contractual rights Activision granted to West and Zampella to control Modern Warfare-branded games,”. The release also claimed that they were each set to receive “substantial royalty payments” within the next few weeks “as part of their existing contracts for Modern Warfare 2″ before having their contracts terminated.
West and Zampella also said a few words…
“We were shocked by Activision’s decision to terminate our contract,” said West, “We poured our heart and soul into that company, building not only a world class development studio, but assembling a team we’ve been proud to work with for nearly a decade. We think the work we’ve done speaks for itself.”
“After all we have given to Activision, we shouldn’t have to sue to get paid,” said Zampella.
Apparently the lawsuit includes claims for charges of “breach of contract, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, wrong termination in violation of public policy, and declaratory relief.”
I personally am most concerned with the part about the control of Modern Warfare-branded games, what will this mean for the future of the series? More info as the story develops…
UPDATE: Since posting this, Activision have said that they are “disappointed that Mr Zampella and Mr West have chosen to file a lawsuit and believes their claims are meritless”.

Bizarre’s new creation’s multiplayer beta begins worldwide tomorrow March 8th via Xbox Live
As Thrungus reported on Friday, Fileplanet.com announced that a “Top Secret Beta” would be coming soon to Xbox 360 and various subscribers to the site have signed up to it and say the secret game is arcade racer Blur.
I, for one, have been excited about the prospect of Blur as it is being developed by the good people over at Bizarre Creations who were responsible for the much-loved Project Gotham Racing series. Blur will be sticking with PGR’s arcade style, rather than moving into Forza territory which should set it apart nicely but, of course, only time will tell!
Keys to the beta are limited but if you’d still like to try signing up, you can do it over at Fileplanet.com. Good luck!
Update: According to Activision, the keys are being given out today (1st March) but the beta will actaully commence one week from now, on March 8th

Rico Rodriguez will be “dropping in” for a quick one on March 4th
That’s right folks, everyone’s favourite freedom fighter will be hijacking a helicopter, jumping out of it, flying through the air and then smashing his way into your living rooms on March 4th to show off his new freeroaming title.
Also of note, publisher Square Enix have said that this will be “one of the biggest freeroaming demos of all time” with a huge 35 square miles of landscape to explore at your will plus some light aircraft are included, along with other vehicles, so that you can do all the hijacking and flying through the air you like! (Well, if you have an Xbox 360, PS3 or PC, please don’t go out stealing aircraft!)
Well we’ve had two freakout videos in a row, two Remi Gaillard prank videos in a row and so this week, (you guessed it!) we are going to make it two Modern Warfare 2 clips in a row!
This comes from the wonderful world of Machinima and is a celebration of all those times when players have gotten kills in the luckiest ways ever! FYI anyone who might end up against me online in the coming days, I will definitely be trying out number 2 on the list! Enjoy!

Super Mario Galaxy 2 confirmed as being released May 23rd…in North America at least.
That’s right, Nintendo have finally revealed today the release date for the highly anticipated Super Mario Galaxy 2. Unfortunately for all you Mario (and Yoshi) fans out there, the May 23rd date is (so far) for North America only!
As for us European lot, as there is no confirmation just yet, our prediction is that it will follow either a few days/a week later or will be saved for June. Either way, one thing’s for sure: it will be a MASSIVE seller and (pretty likely) just as big a critical success as the first but of course only time will tell!
As usual, more info as soon as we have it!
UPDATE: Mark it in your diaries: Nintendo have since confirmed a European release date of June 11th
Legendary games producer to be given BAFTA membership at this year’s games awards
That’s right, in an move that will have UK gamers crying “FINALLY!” at the top of their voices, Shigeru Miyamoto is to be given a BAFTA fellowship.
For those who don’t know the name (shame on you!) Shigeru Miyamoto is the creator of such legendary franchises as Super Mario, Donkey Kong, Legend Of Zelda, StarFox, F-Zero, the list goes on!
“Shigs” (as he is known within the industry) will join such illustrious names as Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick and Harold Pinter during this year’s video games awards ceremony at the Park Lane Hilton on March 19th. Of course, TFMX will be suited up and attending the awards this year and will bring you all of the other news from the night as soon as it breaks.
FAIL!!!
So after two weeks of clips from the hilarious Remi Gaillard, I thought it might be good to return to gameplay videos and it turns out that the best ones out there are all from one game at the moment…that’s right, it’s incredible popularity and huge online community has means that this week comes from Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
This clip is what Americans and the world wide web call an epic fail! I’ve never been a big fan of the Tactical Nuke in multiplayer, I’m more of a Chopper Gunner man myself, therefore I take a certain pleasure in seeing this…
