Press Release from the guys over at Castle Crashers!
Now we don’t have official numbers from Microsoft yet but according to our friends over at vgchartz,
“The Behemoth’s anticipated beat ‘em up smashes every record with 78,545 units”. Apparently our 3 day sales are one of the highest recorded in Xbox LIVE Arcade history, sweet! Once we get some official numbers we’ll post them heres but as of right now the leaderboards show 170,000 users listed!

Our thoughts on this matter are definitely best coming from the man with the studio speakers, ResidentSD.
ResidentSD | “Can we get a clown over here please?” says:
In a way, this isn’t great news.
We look at that and see “great game sells well”
Microsoft look at that and see “1200MSP games are viable!”

Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball (800 points)
Transform the innocent childhood game of dodgeball into a vindictive, heart-thumping battle between outlandish groups of characters including ninjas, pirates, zombies, and robots! Use a red rubber ball to tag opponents out of the game, and utilize a variety of weapons, including ninja and pirate swords, to harm enemies along the way. Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball features different arenas with unique gameplay challenges, from sandy beaches and snow capped forests to a spooky graveyard.
- Presentation: The game was eveloped using Infyrno™, Blazing Lizard’s next-gen proprietary game engine. The colorful art style, theme, and gameplay are suited for all age groups.
- Multiplayer: Multiplayer games include four players locally or eight players online via Xbox LIVE®, and four-player co-op modes.
- Teams: There are four teams of characters to choose from (Pirates, Ninjas, Zombies, and Robots).
- Battlegrounds: The large, incredibly detailed arenas allow for teams to roam freely instead of being restricted to sides of a court.
- Combat action: Characters are equipped with combat moves and unique special abilities help make Blazing Lizard’s rendition of Dodgeball a fun action-packed experience.

You get two cards with the game (each side of 1 card) which can be activated using the ‘Piñata Vision’
Which ads new Piñatas to the garden and I imagine gold as well?
Very cool stuff, hopefully will be used in other games as well and expect to see Viva Piñata cards at your local newsagents sometime in the future…yay |

Mini review for Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise! [8\10]
Going to be honest with you, nut much has changed with this game. Just expect the garden to not be full of trash at the start of the game. Your given a clear canvas that looks rather swish and then slowly put back into the Viva Piñata world that we all know.
How about a few more cutscenes? Hey Presto!
