life-with-playstation

Home has been delayed again Sorry this time its Sony’s Life with PlayStation that has bitten the delay bug. Life with PlayStation is a program witch will be totally free according to Sony and will allow you to grap news and weather direct from a the PS3. The reason for the delay however is basically a paperwork problem due to how news from news agencies is copy righted. Sony say the Life with PlayStation will be available shortly. Didn’t they say that Home will available shortly.

UPDATE: Our very own ResidentS(aver)D just found this cracker at Tesco!
http://www.tesco.com/entertainment/product.aspx?R=844220

We posted a few weeks ago about the guy who is living in thousands of 12 month subscriptions and has to move them all out the way to get to the kitchen cupboards.

Now its time to let you know on a massive deal on MSpoints!

Going very dirt cheap at Gamepointsnow.com (and they email over the codes!). PLUS add WORLDOFCLANS to your basket and you’ll be set.

XGM Header

This week saw the launch of a brand new way to listen to XGM….AAC. We’ve all heard of MP3, however AAC is more efficient at compressing audio, so you get even better quality sound than MP3 at the same bit rates.

Prior to the launch of this week’s show in AAC, I posted all of August’s shows in AAC format so if you’re a few weeks behind listening, you can check them all out in the best possible sound (click here to see all the recent editions of XGM). However, what about the older editions of the show? While I don’t think it’s worth uploading every edition of XGM in AAC format, I have created AAC versions of 10 of the best editions of XGM from our archives!

Carry on reading to find out which episodes are available and to download….

Tecmo just received a splash of upbeat news.

In a brief press release, Microsoft announced that Ninja Gaiden II has sold more than 1 million copies worldwide. According to the publisher, sales figures for the Xbox 360-exclusive action adventure were for all territories worldwide. In the US, industry-research firm the NPD Group reports that the game has sold more than 412,000 copies in the US as of July 31, generating nearly $25 million.

So thats…£12.5 million at the current exchange rate (Same price as a 1 bedroom flat in Notting Hill ;) )

Payne To The Max

I’m a big fan of the Max Payne series (All 2 of them) so to know that there is a film on the way, makes my bullet time mind shake!

Although from the 2nd trailer (Read on link) will show you, It seems to be based on the 2nd game more than the first. Which to me is a big mistake!

I want the baseball bat cartoons!

EA’s moved Dead Space’s release date forward a week in Europe. The game will now launch on PS3 and 360 on October 24.

The PC version, however, will still release on October 31.

The date’s been moved for the console version’s, apparently, as the game’s been finished early.
