Bethesda developers of the upcoming FPS/RPG Fallout 3(GOTY) have confirmed that there will be no dog amour DLC witch is a great shame as we all know how much we loved the horse amour in Oblivion. There will be how ever be quest type DLC (thank god) such as Night of the Nine and shivering isle
“We want stuff that’s going to be several hours. Not just like a one-off thing, but something like where you can download it and play it for X number of hours”.
“It’ll be similar to what we did with Knights of the Nine in Oblivion, where it’s like whole new quest lines, new stuff, that kind of thing”.
This is great news unless your a PS3 owner. Fallout 3 will be available at the end of October.
The guys over at Epic games believe they are getting the last drops of graphical performance from the Xbox 360. As gamers we all knew that this was about to happen we all knew the Xbox 360 was going to be first console to be pushed to its limits but this is not bad news at all really. This means is developers know how to get the absolute best from the system.
Rod Fergusson from Epic believes that they have reached the potential of the Xbox 360 but we will keep seeing improvements through to 2010.
"I’m not the technical guy," The Gears 2 producer told Gamasutra, "all I know is that with the two to three more years of optimisation that we’ve had, we’re much further along than I think, three years ago, we thought we were going to get."
With any luck we will now start to some really great gameplay mechanics start to emerge from other developers and maybe more focus on Xbox live and not just pretty graphics.
Press Release from the guys over at Castle Crashers!
Now we don’t have official numbers from Microsoft yet but according to our friends over at vgchartz,
“The Behemoth’s anticipated beat ‘em up smashes every record with 78,545 units”. Apparently our 3 day sales are one of the highest recorded in Xbox LIVE Arcade history, sweet! Once we get some official numbers we’ll post them heres but as of right now the leaderboards show 170,000 users listed!
Our thoughts on this matter are definitely best coming from the man with the studio speakers, ResidentSD.
ResidentSD | “Can we get a clown over here please?” says: In a way, this isn’t great news. We look at that and see “great game sells well” Microsoft look at that and see “1200MSP games are viable!”
